Reprisal

Created in homage to Populous, Reprisal lets you take control of a tribe, guiding them, building land and making them grow in number. Using special totem powers you can control nature itself unleashing its full fury on anyone that stands in your way. But be warned, other tribes may not take too kindly to your intentions and will put up a fight!

Featuring 30 campaign islands, 15 totem powers to master, 10 unlockable challenge islands, Skirmish mode for unlimited random play, 10 full chip tune tracks by Eric Skiff and much more.

Available for Windows, OSX, and Linux || DRM-Free + Desura

This is one of my personal favorites that we have been able to feature on IGS, please check out my short overview of the game for a better idea of what it is all about. Please support the developers and try it for yourself!

Bought it, but there is no link to download in Game Wallet. Wat do?

Post December 19th, 2012, 1:56 am
Yeah, I'm lovin' the fact that the game + extras was $1.01, and I suppose that given it's popularity, I'd have to join eventually. But the basic files like with every other game would have been nice.

The game files are all in the Desura redeem key? There is the stand alone PC version / Mac and Linux files for download there ... :)

Pretty cool, it's nice to get some information about each game through videos like that. :)

I can tell, one thing most of you notice very soon - awful controls. Gamefieals is very limited too. No OST in BTA bonus. Not best deal even.

The pdf game diary "making of" is so well put together. I couldn't ask for a better bonus. I would like to see more items like that in future deals too.

I agree. I like bonus content like that sometimes instead of just a soundtrack. It is really put together in a way that I enjoyed reading through it, and indie game dev stories are always inspiring.

I finally subscribed and liked all the vids. Wow, I'm kinda slow getting around to that stuff. Great vids, it really is nice since there are so few vids available on some indies. They totally don't get the kind of love they deserve. But, that is and will continue, to change for the better.

Two pieces of news regarding Reprisal:

It now has a Steam Greenlight page, so vote "yes" if you want to support the developers.

Also, for the Linux users, the developers have created a Linux native version that doesn't require AIR. It is still in beta and if anyone wants to participate or pick it up, it is at the following link: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/141030686/810923021690813370/

For those that missed out on the Beat the Average bonus of the "Making of" pdf, a dropbox link for it is available (for now anyway) via the dev from their Steam Greenlight page.

I agree, the music is fantastic, although the soundtrack isn't actually original. Music is by Eric Skiff and was taken from his album 'Resistor Anthems'. http://ericskiff.com/music/
