Just came across Hey Shu! by Jason Bond.
Hey, Shu! is a real-time gardening game for mobile. Roll in the grass, bounce through the hills, and grow a stable ecosystem!

Sounds boring right? Well I dunno, it actually looks pretty cool. Check out the link.

In other news, Sentris reached its funding goal! It's coming to Windows, Mac, Linux, and OUYA... shame there's nothing about a GameStick release. :(

Festival of Magic is a throwback to the classic Japanese RPGs of yore, but puts a spin on the formula by fusing harvesting with turn-based combat.

I'm getting a Final Fantasy vibe from this one, in the character and creature designs. Looks pretty promising.

A game which has been suggested here already, Scraps, has just gone live on kickstarter.

Kickstarter link

Some stuff from the developer:
I've been working on Scraps full-time with no pay for over a year now. The basic building mechanics are all done and a multiplayer prototype is working, but it's still months away from a solid alpha release where you can start playing proper multiplayer deathmatch games and I can start getting a few dollars coming in.

Originally when I started I'd hoped to have an Alpha release out by now, but once the project got going it became apparent that this was a bigger job (doesn't that always happen?). I now have a much better idea of how long the game is going to take, but it's a while, so I'm getting near the point where I'm thinking about getting some extra part-time work. Of course that'd slow down development even more.

However, Kickstarter has just become available in this country and it's a good time to go for it. I'm looking for a bit of funding now, not to cover the whole of development, but to give me free reign to keep working on it full-time until it's really ready to go. Thanks again for being awesome fans.

Embedded Youtube videos will never load for me on these forums, even with AdBlockPlus disabled both here on on Youtube (using Firefox). Not sure why.

Maybe because of this. You may be able to get the videos working by simply changing "https" to "http" in the URL of the forum page in your address box.

Ah, it all makes sense now. And yes, changing to "http" functions as a workaround solution. Thanks for the info!

Tower of Elements 2 Kickstarter

Image

Tower of Elements 2 (ToE2) is a real time strategy and puzzle game with deep city building and match-3/tower defense combat. From your capital city you lead your Kingdom against the invading Void Army that threatens all life.

Your strategy, tower defense, and match-3 skills will determine the fate of your armies, but the many political decisions you make as a leader affect the story and the culture of your kingdom.

As your capital city improves, you will have access to more powerful spells, mightier elite troops, and better battlefield gear and armaments. Along the way you will also earn achievements, complete quests, and fill your Bestiary with enemies.

Looks great! I'm really liking the screenshots of the city and map. If I had a credit card (or a job) maybe I'd shoot some cash your way. ;)
Looks like you've already reached your goal too! Congrats! Please keep us updated on the development! :)

RESET reached their goal! I was sure they weren't going to make it for a while there.
