Syder Arcade is a free scrolling, multi directional shoot ‘em up, an uncompromised old-school experience, furious, challenging, straightforward. This game will bring you back in time, when bulky starships were cool and games were about player skill and swearing madly at your computer.

As a free bonus, you also get Studio Evil’s 7DFPS prototype game “Splat Arena” for PC and MAC in your game wallet.

Great, solid shooter! The visuals are really nice and well-made.
I'm looking forward to see if they will get Greenlit as well, I hope so.

Thanks Mike and IndieGameStand for the upportunity to be featured here!

Also thank you TinyColossus for your support!

I'm Marco, one of Syder Arcade devs, Just wanted to say that at 35 hours left, we added a small challenge to spice things up and see what happens :)

We will add a brand new player ship to every version of the game if we manage to get 1300 sales.

The ship is the A from this concept page, and will be completely different from the other ones already available in the game.
So if you already got Syder Arcade share our offer page! If you don't ... well, get it :P

On a side note:
Anyone of you has any feedback on the android beta?
How are performances, controls and generally the whole conversion?

Hi, first of let me say a big thanks to all you people to do this "IndiegameStand". I really enjoy the page and all the nice games.

I registered to answer the last question of DIT and to give some feedback to the android beta.
I gotta admit that the android version is the only one I tried till yet. And I have to say that I am really impressed.

I tried a lot of "Arcade (or fast paced)" games on android devices and most of the times the touchcontrolls killed the game for me.
But this time I am very impressed. The controlls are very Ok and I get the feeling to a have a lot of controll about the gameplay.

There are ~20% of dying where I feel that a controller would had avoid that, but in my opinion thats totally ok for a touchscreengame.

That said, Im not a big fan of arcade-touchscreengames but this is one of the best I know.
Thanks for the nice game!

EDIT: Device is a galaxy S3

Thanks a lot for the feedback Rumpelhonk!

I'm glad you like our control system.
It's actually a pretty tricky topic, we will problably end up adding few different control modes to please several play styles... problably in in future updates after 1.0 hits google play.

:)

NP! I really love the color options. I'm colorblind, and In some games like this its hard to tell the difference between objects in fast paced games.

Cool feature.

Look forward to seeing your other projects here on Indie Game Stand!

I was waiting awake to see if we made it to 1300 ... but it's almost 2 AM here in Italy. Must sleep.

Much work to do in the morning, hopefully much more due to a certain new starship to build :P

I'll write a proper "thank you" post tomorrow. Stupid time zones :)

Wooooo!!! Awesome!!! I get to make the new ship!

But first, let me thank you all again.

First of all IndiegameStand, we are super happy about this experience, we had a great opportunity to get in touch with new players, we recived a lot of feedback about the game, and we learned a few things about marketing in the process. We even gained 2 positions on Greenlight top 100.

For the rest of you. Well, thanks for supporting our team, we love you! :)

I'm super happy we reached the 1300 target, it was fun looking at the counter until i dropped early this morning :P
Also it would have been sligtly awkward to fail. But we did not!

The new ship is coming!
More details and in a couple of days, I need a little time to organize the thing.

Oh, and if you have more suggestions for us, I'm reading this post.
