Set in the picturesque surroundings of sparse deserts and dense forests it is your task to strategically design and construct an engineering masterpiece. Watch in eager anticipation as unsuspecting motorists, heavy freight trains and tourist riverboats approach. Will your solution stand up to the test or will tons of mangled steel be sent plummeting into the river below?

So no Desura keys for Bridge-it? Will they ever get added later or is that just not part of the offer. If the latter that's kind of a shame.

Not really bad game, BUT...on Desura its really overpriced. Second, no desura key making it a little...strange deal.

Eeek! We don't have permission to link the Desura article to this game's page! IT's controlled by their page settings, I'm pretty sure. I'll try sending them a message.

Also, I picked this up in one of the Gamersgate bundles. Strange controls, but it's a fun little game.

It turned out that i have this game on Gamersgate, BUT it requires activation key for play (not DRM-free).
Is version here different?

This version also has key activation (not sure if it requires a connection for activation or not though. I did enjoy the tutorials last night and look forward to some of the normal gameplay tonight. It was nice to have fully voiced narrative for the tutorials.

Anyone on the fence about this game should check out the hilarious YouTube Let's Play series by JefMajor.

Soo... any chance of a Desura key considering the game is on Desura?

Requires a key, but it accepted the key while I had my wi-fi turned off so it seems to be an offline check.

We've got emails into the developer about Desura keys, Steam keys if greenlit and a DRM free version.

Hi

Developer of Bridge It here, I am working on uploading some Desura keys and if Bridge It gets Greenlit on Steam then Steam keys will be provided as well! Please help us Greenlight Bridge It:

Llet me know if there are any other questions.

Also the Bridge It registration is not a online activation, it is just a keycode and no internet connection is required.

Thanks for your support everyone!

Josiah

Thanks so much for the Desura keys and the very quick response! I voted for the game on Greenlight and hope others will as well.

Hiya,

If we want to reinstall our copies later (maybe we get a new PC or something), will the activation code work again? How many times can you use it? I'm thinking about giving my copy to my Dad (since I already own it from one of the GG bundles) , but he's been talking about getting a new PC soonish.

Also, does anybody know what's in the 'extras' folder, exactly? Presumably it's the bonus levels, but it's still 134.5 Mb (the game itself is 134.4). Is it the entire game plus the bonus stages?

Hi,

You wont have any problems installing the game on another computer. The keycode will work and there is no online activation or internet connection required.

If you get the extras you don't need to download the original file, the add-on pack included the entire game plus the add-on pack.

If we already owned the game beforehand, can we somehow apply the extras to that game install? Or do we need to download it again? More importantly, can we use the extras with our Desura installs?

Thanks!

EDIT: Just saw your tweet saying that it's possible, so now all I need to figure out is... how? :P

You should just install the Bridge It add-on over your existing Bridge It installation and it will work.

somehow this game gives me more adrenaline than shooters. My designs are so poor that every build gets stressed to red and my heart starts beating fast while i am hoping i won't murder the operators of trains and cars. I think I have killed more people in this game than any other recent game played.

I am so ungodly bad at this game for some reason, which usually makes me love a game.

Something about it which gives you that feeling, I get it.

Good stuff.

I'm stuck on Medium 7 and too proud to view a solution online. Usually, practice makes perfect, but not this time.
