Game: Little Racers: Street
Developer: Milkstone Studios
Platforms: Windows

Milkstone Studios have made a name for themselves over the past couple of years on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel. Most of their games are 'clones' of older or classic games, but they bring their own style and a great deal of polish to each of their titles.

I picked Little Racers: Street up last year some time and had a lot of fun with it.
The graphics are great and you can adjust the camera outside of the top-down orientation. There's lots of customization, the gameplay is tight, and the game has Milkstone's signature level of polish. My only complaint is that I can't play it online without Xbox Live Gold. Trust me, it's a great little racer.

I urge you guys to try the demo.

I have this on XBLIG - it really is an underrated terrific little game - i love it and would buy it again on PC - i don't know if i've seen this in the milkstone bundles yet, so IGS yes.

Not normally big into racing games, but I guess this isn't a typical racer either. Reminds me a bit of the Micro Machines games back in the day which I really enjoyed. If this were here I'd pick it up for sure.

As Soli said, looks Micro Machines enough for me.

I never played that. What system was it on?

Didn't want to say that here, because I thought it might hurt the support for getting it on IGS, but yep, it is! I picked up that bundle a couple of days ago. Haven't had time to play any of them yet, but I will!

Still like to see this and Monster Minis here, even if I own them both now!

You said it in the Monster Minis thread. Should we go back and edit our posts?

Oh I did? Huh, my mistake. If you want me to I can remove it, but it's probably not a big deal.

That's embarassing.

Probably would be best if you did in both places. Thanks. I'd hate to see Player Review get robbed of his free copy.
