Cardinal Quest maybe? Again, probably too old to be very likely.

Actually Cardinal Quest was already featured on IGS, one of the first games I believe.

That's correct. But Dungeons of Dredmor, contrary to what I thought, has never been featured here. Would be nice if it was, with all 3 expansions as BTA bonus. :)

Dungeons of Dredmor would be great.
But I think there's a reason they said medieval and not fantasy, so I'm pretty sure it's not one of those.

EDIT: Hint #3: Doth thou challeng me to a duel on Win PC?

Maybe The Three Musketeers: The Game™?
I remember playing the demo awhile ago, can't remember whether I liked it.

So the next game may be a medieval RPG?? The Age of Decadence by Iron Tower Studio would have been awesome but it looks like it won't be released until Q4 later this year.

Hint: Chilvalry is of utmost importance

um: I would say Chivalry Medieval Warfare (Windows), but that is a pretty huge game... also, (playing roles, maybe) not a strict rpg - it also has a duel mode (so it maybe meets all criteria) - but, wouldn't it be too good to be true? It is Steam only which would be a new thing since we always have a standalone copy. Mount & Blade (Steam only) also maybe too huge. I'm stumped now since all searches including "medieval" "chivalry" even if you "-warfare" still end up yielding Chivalry Medieval Warfare for all search results.

Edit: I have since read the description for Pixelry and it looks dead on for the feature. Definitely would pick it up. I think GnomeSlice guessed correctly on this one and before most of the hints. The only thing that doesn't add up is that it supports Windows and Linux and one of the hints was "win pc".

Hint: What witchcraft is this Pixel you speak of?

yep, think this one is a done deal. I really hope it is Pixelry since the game concept is my idea of a perfect game.

Edit: 15 minutes until we find out and I can't wait to get balls deep into Pixelry.

YES! Pixelry.. it is Windows, but of course Linux users can play through (WINE/Mono) per Desura.

Presuming you meant 'Medieval', I'm going to start it off with a guess at Pixelry, although I kind of doubt it.

is there a way to turn down the volume? loving the game, but my eardrums are exploding (already on 1% volume on all variables in Win7). BTW, my speakers are THX certified (can hear them from blocks away), so i'm blaming myself (not the devs). In the meantime I have my headset around my neck which balances the volume quite well.

also, the devs should definitely submit this to Steam Greenlight.

I don't think so, but it shouldn't be THAT loud. It's loud, but my volume is definitely not at 1%. That doesn't sound right.

I have to play all my games, headset or 5.1 speakers on 1% (my outputs are both much older than my computer). Maybe my outputs are just too old for my sound card?

Regardless, I'm glad to hear that it is just me and not the game.

Bridge It is on Desura, but my wallet only has the Standalone key. Home page also doesn't show Desura as part of the game offering, which would be an unprecedented departure from the IGS model thus far.

Will I get a Desura key for my BTA purchase? This also calls into question what has so far been a given, will I get a key if Greenlit on Steam (btw, I know this is up to the developer)?

That said, I am happy that this game is featured since I am very into realistic sims, well all sims tbh.

We'll contact the developer about Desura keys in the morning.

Another question about Bridge It. The main page says it is DRM free, yet there is a game key needed for the install. Doesn't this qualify as DRM? If not, what's the point of the key? Thanks!

Awesome.

BTW, if you beat the average then you should run the extras link (add-on pack) rather than the base game. The extras link appears to be the game + DLC, otherwise you are downloading and installing the game twice.

I made it through the tutorial and Bridge It does look like I can have some fun. I will definitely build some crazy stunt bridges that can still pass the simulation à la Roller Coaster Tycoon style.

I have to say this... when I first saw "Bridge" when I opened IGS I immediately thought it was the recent released Puzzler that came out on Steam "The Bridge" only when I checked the screenshots I was like "oh". Still, it looks good!
