I'm sorry, misunderstood you. However, the explanation stands: this is a limitation of the wrapper under your platform. You get to use the entire screen but the window won't go away. We are working on an alternative but can't promise much at this moment... I hope this makes sense :) Cheers.

Just asking for curiosity, since you use a wrapper, was the game made in html5 or flash?

Anyway, the game is great, kinda reminds me of Super Meat Boy with the short levels, and easy deaths, I'm glad I bought it! :)

Hey Tazi,

KRUNCH is built on a krunchified version of flixel 2.43 so yes: it is a Flash game. I'm not sure if wrapper is the correct term but that is the first thing that comes to mind :) In essence, this "wrapper" is similar (superior is a better term) to what you would get should you create a projector with Flash Player.

thanks :)

actually, I'm also asked this because of the full screen mode, I think with flash and a different wrapper it could be possible. games like Machinarium or Intrusion 2 are done in flash, and run nicely on fullscreen with a wrapper, I think.
so, any chance for a borderless fullscreen mode later on? :)

Hey Tazi,

Yes there is... you can achieve this by using Adobe AIR (which is what Machinarium uses). We had KRUNCH running great on AIR under OSX but could not get it running well enough on Windows (keyboard did not respond, screen flickering in some setups). Maybe it'll happen one day :)

Didn't work for me. Crash at start up.

When launching the game I get this message:

"***Caught unhandled unknown exception; terminating"

I got this in both the IndieGameStand.com DRM free version as well as my Desura version.

Screencap of error message:

Intel laptop - i5 Inspiron N5110

Graphics
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family - 1696mb

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

DirectX 11

Also submitted this to the games website. Waiting for solution. Thanks ^_^

In case Vieko isn't checking this forum anymore -

I am betting it is a directx related issue. You might try the dx9 redist to make sure you have the latest and greatest [dx9] version http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109.

If that fails then hopefully the issue is known by the dev, with unknown UE errors it is difficult to troubleshoot. Not sure if you have an error log on Event Viewer regarding the UE you got. If so, you might want to grab the error log.

BTW: I like your vids (youtube channel)

Tryed the redist. Didn't work. Rebooted. Still no dice. Thanks anyway though. Hopefully I'll get a solution from the error submission form from the website. They initially wrote me back and told me to make sure I had tryed rebooting. But yeah If I can't get it to work then it's no big deal.

Also wow thanks for watching my youtube channel man!

Speaking of KRUNCH, how did you guys do playing through it? I played it in a single sitting, and I did well until close to the end. Anyone want to compare?

My Score
Sometimes I just sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.

Ha-Ha. Crunch now is part of Indieroyale. Feel myself little fooled, but oh well, considering that Mash Bundle have 2(!) Steam-only game...
