Arcade documentary of maze/dot/snake mechanic within changing dimensions, axis locks and the corruption of the system. Collect, grow, avoid your past, find new space, wake up…

QRTH-PHYL continues the algorithmic, generative and metaphorical arcade game design ideas last seen in previous hermitgames release Leave Home. The game plays in 3D, is adaptive and fuses elements of documentary. Based on a prototype created in the deep south west of Cornwall circa 2004 it has been (re)developed for PC over the last two years. Built with custom tools, self generating code and a modified AY-3-8912 audio chip.

I kinda dont even know that to say. This type of game can be either epic either totally bad. Itw worth to try just because of how it looks but about actual game-play...can be anything.

going from my experience with Leave Home, this should be an amazing game! can't wait to get home and install it and see how it plays. native gamepad support makes me so very happy.

Personally, this is a game that I gravitate back to over and over again. It's great for a quick challenge or longer sessions where you're really trying to master the varying levels. I love the way it varies between the 2D/Cube levels and the free flying 3D levels inside the cube.

I just got the game, and can't wait to try it out!

However, the lack of Steam OR Desura keys makes me a sad panda :(

Let's do our best to Greenlight the game!

Well, the game is good, nice graphics, minimalist sound (which is good), interesting gameplay.
I'm curious by the "documentary" word. It's the first time I heard of an "arcade documentary" game. For that matter, it's the first time I heard of a "documentary" game, full stop... It is for its snake homage-sort-off nature or what that means exactly?

Cool to hear people are enjoying it.

I'd love to get QRTH-PHYL (and Leave Home) on Steam, Greenlight "yes"s very much appreciated. The recent talk of opening up the Steam API is exciting, if Valve do that in the future it's very likely I'd add both games and support steam leaderboards, achievements, big picture etc. And of course steam keys for any existing owners.

I would just like to say that this was an amazing game and was criminally overlooked. That is all.
