Is someone tried to open group on Desura? Im not so deep in it...most things i seen - is game-specific forums (given to game developer) so i'm not sure is it possible at all.

Good idea, I'll post a new thread about one shortly.
Sometimes I just sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.

XBLIG are usually made for computer (although sometimes with XNA) and ported to the console - I hope I'm right, I don't really know what I'm talking about. It is just one of the outlets for Indie devs, however, I feel that Desura/IGS is the way to go. Anyway, point is, could be on any OS... guess we'll see.

Well, basically, XNA is working on top of NET that making it Windows oriented. These games typically easily (with some quirks like only XBOX controller support) ported ot rather compiled for Windows, but nor running then not porting to other Oses is not easy.
Because of that i'm kinda not impressed, since XNA games in most cases looks and feels pretty cheap (not always, but often) and stereotyped.
Well, IF its XNA...it may be not.

I think you probably got it - based on the hint. Wonder what BTA would be since Leave Home was already featured?

I'm hoping it's 'Out There Somewhere' but that's not really a MetroidVania even though it's been likened to one.

Too many games dubbed Metroidvania-like out there to make a guess... :?

But just for the sake of it I'm gonna guess it could be either Cave Story+ (which I already own) or Knytt (please, please! :))

Yeah, I meant Knytt Underground which is awesome as well as multiplatform.

Speaking of which, Nifflas' Games recently released a free, multiplatform and open source new game: The Great Work. It's got some resemblance with Knytt Underground, so it's awesome as well. :D
