So these is an update to this old thread (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=150). We've been working on this and a better way to display bonus content. We took it as far as we could (see old thread) but brought in some design help and got the following concepts and would love to get our users/fans opinions on them:

Keep in mind that our team is not really considering concept #1 - it's really between 2 and 3, but I thought it was good to have the original concept as a reference point.

I voted for Concept 3, but "Beat the Average" and "Bonus!" are clearer in Concept 2.

I personally like 3. Not only does it look better, but having the blue border around and making it kind of pop out makes it obviously stand out more. Not that anyone was missing it before, but who knows, maybe more people will click it now, heh.

Do we think that the bonus ribbon would be better with a color rather than grey?

Concept 3, different color would pop more for sure!

If it is a popout then I would stick with a color that differentiates itself from the grey borders, so blue works.

I went against the grain though and voted concept 2 for the pure reason that it is so damn clean, but I guess it doesn't pop enough :(

Wow, so much votes for concept 3? In my opinion (as a web designer/developer) concept 2 is the best of those three. It gives you information about the BTA bonus and does not distract from the main content (remember: the main game is the actual deal) and the "BUY NOW" button, as concept 3 does with its huge vibrant blue area. The darker background, the yellow bonus ribbon and the icons of the bonus items are enough to gain attention. You don't want a bonus to overshadow everything else.
But that’s just my two cents.

In my opinin the difference between 2 and 3 is not really that important. MUCH more important is fact that you actually showing, at least, BTA bonuses in clear view. #2 is probably, more follows general page design, but #3 have more potential to catch user attraction. And there is lay a little problem - do 1st time purchasers really get that this is BTA bonuses?
I expect future problems like "i paid X$ and got no bonuses!" I think is should be clear how much you need to pay get extra goodies.
Humble bundle signalling you that "you need add X to unlock bonus" while you inputting your price. And this is right way to do things.

Glad to see the voting is getting a little closer.

I think what you get will be very clear when everyone sees our new checkout page... stay tuned for more design work and mock-ups in the coming weeks.

I personally think that the second conept is the cleanest looking of them all. However, perhaps make the dark grey background the same color as the blue in concept 3? Also, maybe change the "bonus" ribbon to the green color on the site? Dunno, just my thoughts. They all look great!

looks great - the element (icon) could be a bit larger, but I am really digging the new layout, especially with the float over text on the BTA icon.
