There have been a few other games like that, that only the DRM-free version asks for an authentication key (Mobiloid, Gimbal and Spacechem come to mind) - regardless, good question...

Good point, I remember noticing it that with Mobiloid. I haven't tried installing it yet (through Desura or DRM-free) so it might be that.

Has anyone else tried downloading the soundtrack for McDROID? I have done several times now and WinRAR has consistently said it was corrupted.

Same here using Windows Explorer and WinZip. Needs to be packed differently, or at least another go.

Do I need to have a internet connection to play the game? (because of the game key)

You can play single player offline without connecting to the internet, but you'll need internet connection to play co-op or cloud saving (which is kinda hard without a net connection anyway :))

OK, the soundtrack zip file was corrupted - I've uploaded a fixed version now.

Yeah, IGS rlly made 2 of my wishes come true, same story happened with Underrail and Groupees during christmass time :D
I`m just this lucky i guess (thank you again IGS and Devs :P)

Anyway guys/gals, give Mcdroid COOP a try, it`s rlly a blast. Try the IRC channel ( http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=mcdroid&uio=d4 ) if noone hosts a game or host one yourselfs :)
You can play story missions via COOP mode alone, someone might join in the middle as well.

You can give it away here or at IndieGameStand Steam group, as most of us do.

BTW, the first hint for next game has been given:

Hint #1: Another game on Greenlight

And it seems to be a Linux game, so I'm a happy man. :D :D :D

Lol, to giveout Desura keys in Steam group...you sure is funny. But if it can boost popularity, then it would be great

Wouldn't be the first nor the second Desura key given away at the Steam group...

But you've got a point, I'd love there was an IndieGameStand group on Desura too, and trade Desura keys there. That way I could just forget about the one on Steam.

Decent idea, but I think the community is somewhat dead at Desura - I'm sorry to admit that they just don't put enough effort into their community platforms (uninspired, unfriendly and not intuitive). This is despite my love for the Desura platform in general, it just doesn't lend itself to community - on this note, the developers are usually awesome to respond to PM's... anyways...

Is someone tried to open group on Desura? Im not so deep in it...most things i seen - is game-specific forums (given to game developer) so i'm not sure is it possible at all.
