Want to be an IGS Official Broadcaster?

Our goal at IndieGameStand has always been to uphold the core values of what it is to be an indie gamer and developer. We believe in having a strong community of gamers to support the development of the games we know and love. A positive and open outlook on the indie scene is required to be a part of the IGS Twitch Team.

A few notes on being an IGS caster:

    - Having fun is a requirement
    - Promoting your fellow casters and community is what this is all about
    - Working your way up in the casting world can be hard work.
    - Being part of the IGS team doesn’t guarantee you views/followers, you still have to put in the legwork.
    - While you will not get paid for being a caster, there are other perks for being part of this selective community.
    - You will have to network and provide enjoyable content in order to succeed.

General Streaming Guidelines

- You must have experience with game casting
At least a few months of consistent streaming is required to be considered for the IGS Twitch community. This allows us to properly gauge if you are currently a fit for the team.

- Personality and Interactivity
Having an entertaining and enjoyable personality is KEY to the success of each caster. You must be willing to engage and interact with your audience whenever possible.

- Quality
You don’t need to stream in full 1080p video with 320kbps audio, just make sure that you streams are clear and watchable.

IGS Specific Guidelines

- You have to have the indie game stand artwork in your channel - minimum all the time.
- If you are dual streaming in the IGS main channel, all giveaways must be done in the IGS main channel, not your channel, and IGS must be acknowledge as the entity giving away the keys.
- If you are streaming in the IGS main channel, don't have your own links displayed or advertise other things. The IGS channel is reserved strictly for IGS support. Your personal channel is where you should be doing that.
- When you are in the IGS channel streaming a specific game, make sure that you have the link where to buy it on IGS ready to paste into the chat easily.
- If you are streaming on the IGS channel and the game is not available from the Playing menu in Twitch, make sure that it is set to Games + Demos.
- Promote streams via @IndieGameStand on Twitter

If you agree to all of this and want to be considered for being an official IGS caster, please use THIS FORM. Someone will be in contact with you if you meet the requirements of the group!
