Adoray has created an IRC (chat) that we have been using for the past week. It is a pretty neat addition to the other options we have been using.

If anyone is interested, Adoray has written a pastebin page with instructions on how to join. There are usually several of us in the chat (5 at the moment).

We had theflamingskunk (one of the Recruits devs) in the chat last night, it was fun to shoot the breeze with him.

By the way. why you using outdaten IRC? Doesnt it more sane to use Jabber\XMPP since it provides full rouming between servers (that menans that you dont need to have account on one server, to join chant on another)?

So apparently my xchat client expired after 30 days... I've looked around for new clients but from the ones I saw every single one was a 30 day trial and had to buy it after that. So... am I missing something or is there a free client somewhere out there?

I got a patch for my xchat to allow me to continue using it - however, gnome and some others have recommended http://www.quassel-irc.org/

i intend to start using that client soon

I'm trying Quassel right now but for some reason I can't connect to the server.

Yea there are lots of other nice free IRC clients to use
