I was hugely disappointed by the "Fun Factor" in GTAIV but the reviews of GTAV have come in and caused me to order it. I should have it in a few days, but what are indie fan impressions? Does it live up to the hype?

One of my friend has it, him and his wife are loving it (apparently you can do lots of things ingame).
I still keep my reservations though after being disappointed by GTA4, + i don't own a console :D
I guess i'll wait until it's released with dlcs in future :)

I'm interested in hearing your review tbh.

Yeah I should get it tonight. So I'll post some impressions once I get into it. As a point of Reference I rank San Andreas/Vice City as the best GTAs then the original GTAIII and GTAIV is definitely last for me.

I dunno, it seemed pretty fun to me.

Also, make sure you don't install Disc 2 of GTAV to your hard drive (read below).

Only played about an hour or so of GTAV last night. It is already much better than GTAIV. I really like the Player switching - it's done really well. I also like the player special abilities since they add to the overall fun factor. So far, the story has been a little erratic and hard to get into. Hopefully it will come together once I get past the intro of each character (I just got the 2nd Michael).

How about driving mechanics? Heard some complaints about it already.

I have an incredible experience playing GTA V as it is an action-adventurous game.

I'm still playing GTA IV and not even Episodes of Liberty City yet.
