Take control of shovel-master Fagus the grave robber extraordinaire in this third person stealth action-adventure. It's a curious blend of whimsical English comedy and grim Dickensian horror made by a two-man team dedicated to fun, addictive gameplay.

How strange, IGS provides TGZ (literally archive) for linux version of Grave Digger and Desura provides DEB files (can be called kind of installers).
BTW, guys, i was thinking about skipping, but after i tried demo i decided to get this game. yeah, looks damn cheap, but fun to play.

Thanks for your support, I'm glad you like it. :)

I don't think IGS would let me upload the .deb files. As you say though the .tar.gz are just an archive, so you simply extract and run. Or yeah you can use the Desura key and install it through that.

Yeah, there's two files in the root folder:

GraveDigger.x86
GraveDigger.x86_64

The x86 one being the 32bit version, the x86_64 the 64bit one.

The game is made with Unity, and officially they only support Ubuntu 10.04 or above (so that's what I've been testing on). Other deb based distros will probably also work, but I'm not sure about non-deb ones. If it doesn't work though, it's possible that will be rectified in a Unity update as their Linux support is still relatively new.

I see this just dropped on Greenlight! [Link]

Do we get a steam key if we bought this on IndieGameStand and it gets greenlit?

Yes, usually.

Usually, but please remember that it's not guaranteed. It's entirely up to the developer.
