So there are going to be times that a game comes through that we have mixed feelings about internally. We think we have a pretty good eye for great indie games and want to keep IGS as open as possible, but I think everyone would agree that you can't let every game on the store. So there are going to be times that we're going to ask you guys what you think. Your opinions will immediately impact if the game will or won't be approved for our store. This isn't Greenlight, it's not a popularity contest about getting tons of yes votes. It's an assessment of quality and perception of a game. The IGS community will help shape IndieGameStand's Store.

As a Developer, I hope you won't be offended if your game shows up for discussion. We're a small team and we don't want to be dictators based on our own personal tastes. In some cases, we may think a game is great but that we still need the community's feedback. Bear with us!

Great that you decided to not allow just ANY game in store, since i know at least one store who made such mistake and turned into dump...

I'm the developer of Letter Quest (which just recently made it's way onto IndieGameStand https://indiegamestand.com/store/1133/letter-quest-grimms-journey/), and I'm not offended at all that a topic was created to see if there was any interest in Letter Quest. I'd rather see a bit of curation than have IndieGameStand turn into something like Steam Greenlight (where giving away a free copy to everyone that votes is now "the thing" that tons of devs seem to be doing, getting even the worst games through Greenlight, which is very disappointing).

Help get Letter Quest on Steam by voting on Greenlight: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=248089760, thanks!

I believe asking for community feedback is a brilliant idea. Sadly I missed the last stream where you were assessing new submissions to the store but I'm looking forward to joining the next one.
