Official Description:
"As a member of the Aquadelic GT league you will fight to win cash prizes and the support of fans around the world, from the rivers of Russia and the ports of Greece to luxurious Caribbean islands. You'll have to beat rival racers to the finish, and it won't be easy as you're all armed to the teeth with shark torpedos, dragnets, balloon bombs and exploding frogs!

As your fame grows, you can land bigger and bigger sponsors – who will pay you even more money! You may be starting in a ramshackle old tub of a boat, but in no time at all you'll be able to buy a fancy speedboat, or a classy catamaran. Turn your newfound fame into money, and spend it to buy lavish new homes. Why live in an apartment in Russia when you could buy your own Caribbean mansion? Between races, you can move around the world looking for sponsors, giving taxi rides, helping out people in need, or even going for joyrides in seaplanes."

Aquadelic GT is one of my favourite games. It has a little bit of everything. Start out as a nobody in the boat racing world, and work your way up. It's not all racing though; you're free to explore the game's locations or perform side jobs, and even fly a plane, all while chilling to the game's fabulous licensed soundtrack. As you gain fame, seek out new sponsors, boats, and buy properties in each location. Or just drive around and take in the sights, of which the game has plenty.

The graphics are still pretty great, despite the age of the game, and there's tons of stuff to do. The boat physics feel nearly perfect as well; the engine was custom built, and Hammerware did an absolutely amazing job. The game looks and feels (and plays!) fantastic.

The main drawback for me is that there's no native controller support, which is a big letdown. However, I've carefully put together a JOY2KEY config which you can get here if you like.

Voted yes. There aren't too many boat racing games out there, and this one seems interesting enough. Why the hell would they leave out gamepad support though? People play racing games with a keyboard/mouse? lol

I am still a huge fan of hydro thunder (i played in the arcades back then, and on xbla now). This game reminds me of it.

I would really like to see more of these types of titles (graphics) here and there. I have a good computer and it is a little painful to subject it constantly to 30 year old graphics (plus some top-end games were made with these graphix in the early 2000's). So, definite yes to almost all of these types of suggestions... i will buy them and try them!.
