In that case, since they have kind of "screw that Desura pests" position i can only say same to them and discourage anyone to support them.
When/where did I
ever say that Dejobaan games has an anti-Desura position? I merely stated some reasons why, to my mind, they might not bother with Desura sales. In fact, a major point of that article I linked previously was that an indie developer is
better off doing direct sells through their website before ever considering steam or Desura. So no, I am not pontificating a "steam's the best, screw everything else" position.

I heard about "Desura sale sucks" thing numerous times, but there is simple question? Why? Maybe because everyone tend to see them as second-grade quality platform and ready to do anything to get on Steam? And how then Desura can grow?
Desura "sucks" because, unlike steam, there is no apparatus in place to truly spotlight games, since sales are handled strictly through the developer's impetus. Steam has internal-based daily deals, weakly deals, weekend deals, etc etc etc overkill on deals that are offered to the developers to participate in. The other thing is the Desura client hasn't had a proper update to it since time immemorial. And in regards to the second-grade quality platform, if this really was the reigning public thought process, I doubt so many bundles would include Desura (and DRM free) exclusive titles. But then there is also
their own mission statement when they began that states theyre not trying to compete with steam, simply offer another niche for indie games that wouldn't be featured on steam.
