I just couldn't believe nobody had suggested this game yet, since it's such a highly anticipated game. I even had to double check it! :D

Legend of Dungeon is a 4 Player Co-op Rogue-Like-like Beat'em'up with Dynamic Lighting on AWESOME Pixel Art.

You and up to three companions are looking for treasure and glory in a dark flickering dungeon full of deadly. Legend has it there is a massive treasure all the way down on the 26th floor. Your quest: get the treasure, and make it back alive. Which you won't, you'll die...
...the game is about dying, and treasure!

Legend of Dungeon is part Beat'Em'Up, like those awesome old-school 4 player arcade games (it plays a little like TMNT and X-Men) and it's part RogueLike, in its setting and content generation.

Features
· 1 to 4 Player Cooperative Gameplay (same PC, multiple controllers)
· Randomized Dungeon
· Controller support / Big picture compatible
· Real-Time Beat'em'up style combat
· Permadeath (with 2+ players, you become a ghost, and collect spirit orbs to resurrect)
· Randomized Dynamic Music built from 244 tracks
· Dynamically Shaded Pixel Art!
· Real-Time Shadows
· Online Score Board
· Awesome Weapons and Magic!
· Creepy Monsters and Bosses
· Devices - (Artifacts that, when activated, help or hinder the players)
· Made in Unity - For Windows, Mac and Linux!

Features in Development
· Random Encounter NPC's
· Unlockable Player Classes
· Tameable Pets!

I've just purchased the 'Nearly beta' released today and I am going to submerge myself in it! :P

played this from the gl bundle and the graphics are beautiful, but i did come across some intermittent game breaking bugs (such as baddies blocking my exit and no angle to attack them.. so had to die). still though, this is a fun game with all the items and the co-op... would love to see it here.

After some intense single-playing, all I can say is two words: AWE-SOME. :D I cannot imagine a full 4-player coop... :o

BTW, I didn't experience any bugs like the ones PR talked about.

I would play the crap out of this. Completely forgot about the "working beta" we got in a groupees bundle. Beautiful graphics and from what I've been seeing, after their kickstarter things just got bigger and bigger. Might not be available to be in something like IGS for a little bit, but the publicity could be very good for them.. hrmm. Def a game I'm wanting to play the full thing of.

I have taped my credit card to my monitor so that if this is ever offered on IGS I will be able to complete purchasing it as quickly as possible.

:D

This will be first in a Groupees bundle as they have mentioned before during the indie spotlight on there. Plus for now the game is not yet out. so most likely it will be in their bundle in two months or so.

This title was actually already featured on groupees, but maybe it will be back for an encore. I would really like to see it here so I could buy it all over again.

It was a "limited one-shot extended demo" build, as far as i remember. Same as Rico and Driftmoon. Cannot be qualified as full game.

Yeah, the groupees' Indie Spotlight games are majorly overworked demos that include more content than a normal demo, but less content than the "real" game, intended to get focus onto a new upcoming indie game. They never promised anything more than that for the Spotlights, meaning updates or keys.

That is true, but what the developer did say it will return in all its clory during chat, so i guess we will see it shortly after launch.

That is quite exciting, I hope to see it on IndieGameStand though.

I was not aware of that. I'm even more excited for its release now. ;)

Guys -

Thanks for suggesting this - we ran into them at PAX and I recognized the game from your suggestions. We planted the IGS seed with the dev team. So much follow-up over the next few weeks.
