So, I've been following this game since early 2011 before it was even released. Still remember nagging the developer via youtube when he got months behind said original release date, heh. When he finally did release it, it was literally unplayable because it was missing a file, and even after the file was added, was still quite buggy. Since then he has been weeding them out, there are still a few bugs, but he is currently working on version 1.6. He also submitted the game to IGF, which also means the game could be coming to Steam in the near future (Something about games that are submitted to IGF get a free ride onto Steam? Not exactly sure how it works).

But yeah, the game is original, I've never played anything like it. It's unique, fun, and has an amazing OST. Would make a great edition to IGS and I imagine it would probably do pretty well.

I first heard about this on IGF. It's a finalist for this year's awards in three categories, including the grand prize.

+1, would be cool to see it here.
Sometimes I just sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.

You can download the free version and get to play through as two of the three characters, however to unlock Vinny, the third playable character, you must pay 5 bucks. Or you can get the deluxe edition like I did for 40...

I sent Hofmeier a message via the forums at his website to see if he'd be interested in having his game featured on this site. I'll let you know what he says when he replies, fingers crossed, I think it'd be a good addition to the site.

Haha, not gonna lie, I'm not 100% certain that's my portrait, but I am pretty sure. For those that don't know, way way back, before Cart Life was even released, Hofmeier, the developer, asked some of us that were on his forums to submit photos of ourselves if we liked and he would make us a customer in the game, so of course I did. The customer that most resembled me is the one I am using as my avatar here. In the photo I submitted I had pretty long hair, and I've always had a chinstrap. So that's what I'm going on, as far as I'm aware there are no other customers that look like that, so I'm pretty sure that one is me.
